Fantasy Five by Jecel Censoro

Fantasy and sensitivity gave birth to this 5 best movies that will
surely give you those Goosebumps and heart pumping action.

On the top list is the movie Ang lihim ni Antonio (Antonio's Secret),
it is a gay film with a touch of the Filipino reality. The good thing
about this movie is that it shows the struggle of a young man in
searching for his real identity. He was raped by his uncle and he saw
his mom killed his uncle. Now, do you know which one is his secret?

Second on the list is Lalake sa Parola (The Man in the Lighthouse).
This is another gay film which portrays the struggle of a man to get
out of the closet in a rural area where people are conservative. The
sexiness and passion of this movie to set oneself free makes it more
appealing for both straight and curves.

Stonewall, an excellent film which tells the story on the homosexual
riots that happened in 1960's and 1970's. The stonewall event is
regarded as the first action of homosexual groups against homophobia
at those times. It shows the struggle of the homosexual people to live
with dignity and respect which pave the way to the gay human rights
movement. This movie is worth a watch for homosexuals, bisexuals,
lesbians and most especially to the straight people.

If you prefer a comedy and a love story together then better set and
watch Trick. Trick mirrors the 1990's gay culture with a spice of
twist and turns around the love story of the two guy couples. Sit back
and enjoy this wonderful story of two gay boy toys searching for a
place to hook up.

The ever famous Hollywood movie, the Brokeback Mountain features two
hot straight cowboys who found love with each other. The best thing
about this movie is that it touches the gay reality in early 1960's
where every man is expected to have a woman. The sad thing about the
movie is that they weren't able to stay together until the old year
when everything seems to fall apart already. This movie proves that
love is uncontrollable. It is a force of nature.
